Paul Kirth

Paul Kirth is a Computer Science Masters candidate at California State University Northridge, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UCLA. After several years as a Civil Engineer, Paul decided to return to academia to pursue a Masters degree, and eventually a PhD, in Computer Science. His areas of interest are Concurrency, Algorithms, Machine Learning, and Real-time Simulation. His background in earthquake engineering gives him a unique perspective on system design, and hopes his professional experiences will help push the boundaries with his future Computer Science research. He lives with his fiancé and three dogs in the Los Angeles area, loves to cook, and is an avid Jiu-Jitsu student.
